    Local students from Graham FFA recently received accolades at the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo for various categories.

    The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo was held from Feb. 1-18, with events continuing into April.
    In the Ag Mechanics contest Graham FFA won two first place awards.

    In the Multi Piece Large Indoor Furniture division, Lance Browning came away with first place for his wood kitchen table with chairs. In the Other division, Allie Posey, Kanyon Crawford and Kiya Cope also came away with first place for their octagonal table with a firepit and grill in the center.

    Blue ribbons were also received by Brazier Joy for his cattle scale and Steven Vaughan for his entry gate.

    In the Texas Stars Gilts category, Lance Browning, Brailey Brooks and Meea Noyola entered in the Berkshire class. Brooks also entered into the Duroc class and Brayelyn Brown entered in the Spot class.

    Dark cross breeds were entered by Jasmine Denton, Hailey Fuentes, Brailey Brooks, Drake Elliott, McKenzie Vacante, Adelyin Brown and Brayelyn Brown.

    Brooks placed sixth in Class 4 for Berkshire and second in Class 5 for Duroc. She placed sixth overall in the Duroc class and secured a spot at the sale.

    Keller Jordan brought home first in class for heavyweight dark cross, junior heavyweight champion for dark cross and overall champion for all cross breeds. Jordan closed out the gilt show with a supreme champion overall award.

    In Junior Boer Goats in the division of Doe Kids, 6-9 Months, Full Blood & American Purebred Does, Kiya Cope won fifth and sixth place in Class 11.
