Greyhound bus stop relocation sparks discourse in Plattsburgh
The Greyhound bus stop was located at Mountain. They moved to a Route 3 Sunoco for a few days, but that didn’t work out. As of Monday morning the greyhound stop is on Cornelia Street in front of The Government Center – a stop that County Legislature Mark Henry says is not ideal.
Swimming at Plattsburgh beach closed due to elevated levels of E. coli
Plattsburgh, NY- The City Beach will be closed for swimming starting Thursday, July 18th due to elevated levels of E. coli in the water. Sample water was collected on July 17th, and results came through the following day indicating unsafe amounts of E. coli. The beach remains open to the public but swimming is not permitted. Regulated swimming areas will be monitored by lifeguards.
