Art students bring peace and beauty to CVPH's R5
CHAZY | "I think it's really cool, because I know that I helped contribute and I know it might help people and make people more relaxed." Grace Rocha, a sixth grader at Chazy Elementary School, has a great reason to be proud. She and her fellow classmates in Stephanie Lefand's art class are helping bring peace to families visiting loved ones on our Med/Surg and Oncology inpatient floor, which many of you know as R5. They created two paintings that are now on display in our solarium, where family members and friends of our patients will go for a break while visiting.

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Let’s take a look at what to do this weekend. This weekend Fort Ticonderoga is holding a two-day battle reenactment of the 1759 Siege of Carillon, which saw the British take control of the fort from the French. Visitors can enjoy demonstrations, boat cruises, and reenactment scenes featuring cannon fire. All events are included in general admission, which ranges from $13 to $29.
