The Minnesota Twins will conduct a free youth baseball clinic in Cohasset, MN on Friday, May 31, 2024. The clinic will take place at Portage Park and will run from 3 p.m.—5 p.m.

Presented by Great River Energy, Play Ball! Minnesota youth clinics are for boys and girls ages 6-12. Participants are required to register for the free clinics that are happening across the State of Minnesota at www.playballmn.com. The registration in Cohasset is currently full and closed unless cancellations occur. Registration is capped at 150 total youth.

Minnesota Twins youth instructors will provide all the necessary equipment for the clinic, however, players should bring their gloves.

The Twins Clinicians scheduled for Cohasset include Dave Bevacqua, Josiah Hayden, Kent Paulson, and Kobi Allen as coordinator. The public is welcome to watch the youth clinic in Cohasset. No professional Twins baseball players will be present.

The Minnesota Twins Youth Clinics are available to participants and communities free of charge; funding is provided by the Twins Community Fund and Great River Energy.

Lake Country Power and the City of Cohasset are tag-teaming to bring the youth clinic to Cohasset. Additional communities within Lake Country Power’s service area may be considered for clinics in 2025, given the overwhelming interest for the event taking place on May 31 in Cohasset.

Governed by a public board of directors, the Twins Community Fund was chartered as an independent public charity in 1991 with the mission to enrich local and regional communities by providing resources for the healthy development of children and families through an association with baseball, softball, and the Minnesota Twins. The Twins Community Fund and its grant programs are supported in part by Target, US Bank, Treasure Island and Nike.
