Members Cooperative Credit Union shared two new faces who’ve joined the Grand Rapids team- branch manager Jennifer Raushel and mortgage loan originator Tyler Melton.
A seasoned financial services professional, Raushel joined Members with over 20 years of customer service, having served in roles from teller to AVP of Branch Operations. She serves on the Grand Rapids Area Library Foundation Board, the Hill City Area Community Fund Board, the ICTV Board, and volunteers through the United Way of 1000 Lakes. Jennifer and her husband Blaine have two sweet dogs and a beloved “hoard” of nieces and nephews. She enjoys opportunities to get out in nature— hiking or camping, boating, fishing, golfing, or soaking up patio season. She also enjoys reading, art, and photography.
“A lot of folks in our community don’t realize all we have to offer,” says Raushel, “from personal banking and lending, to mortgages, business banking, safe deposit boxes, CDs, HSAs, IRAs, and more, we’re a one-stop-shop! We’re honored to help educate and empower our members to manage their finances to best serve them and their values.”
Tyler Melton joined the Members Mortgage team as a mortgage loan originator serving members in the Grand Rapids area. His experience as a loan officer began in 2019. Melton attended the University of Northwestern– St Paul, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in 2014. He has called his wife’s hometown of Grand Rapids home since 2020. Tyler and his wife, Laura, have two springer spaniels, Jet and Lola.
A fan of the green, Tyler is an avid golfer, having played on his high school and college teams.
Melton looks forward to helping members achieve their homeownership goals: “My mission is to create long-term relationships with our members and provide them with personalized, tailored solutions that fit their unique needs and situations.”
As a dedicated and hardworking mortgage professional, Melton especially values communication, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. He aims to guide Grand Rapids members through the mortgage process, whether they’re looking to purchase, build, renovate, or refinance a home.
