Canadian wildfire smoke to trigger air quality alert
(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency says parts of northwest Minnesota will be affected by Canadian wildfire smoke this week. Heavy ground-level smoke is expected in the region beginning this afternoon. The air quality alert will take effect at 3 p.m. today and will last until 6 p.m. Sunday.
Where Is Minnesota Looking At Adding A New Freeway?
I've been waiting years for some road relief, and while it's not coming to the St. Cloud area, at least in terms of a new freeway, the state of Minnesota is looking at converting a highway in the North Metro into the newest freeway. The move would eliminate stoplights and add over or underpasses for those intersections.
