GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Bay Port alum Alec Ingold returned to his high school on Thursday to host his third annual Green Bay Youth Football Summit. The Miami Dolphins’ fullback hosted 3rd through 8th graders for free.

“I think it’s a part of the responsibility. Growing up in a community like this, you understand how many people are doing special things in the area,” Ingold said, reminiscing on camps put on by Packers-great Donald Driver that he attended as a kid.

Ingold is entering his sixth season in the NFL and third with the Miami Dolphins. Last year, he was the Dolphins Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee and earned a Pro Bowl nod. Ingold runs the Ingold Family Foundation, which is “dedicated to empowering underserved youth through accessible and impactful learning experience.”

“To be full circle, turn it around, and be able to help these kids out…it’s what it’s all about.”
