As the Green Bay Packers get ready for the start of the 2024 season, one of their young wide receivers recently was named to an analysts All-Breakout Team.

Coming into the 2024 season, there are a lot of people excited about what the offense of the Green Bay Packers can accomplish. Last season, we saw some of the young talent of the Packers on display, as Jordan Love quickly propelled himself into the conversation of being one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the second half of the season.

With Love playing well also came his weapons performing well. We saw the Packers with a well-balanced attack through the air, as they had six players record more than 300 receiving yards last season.

As of now, the Packers don’t currently have a clear-cut No.1 receiver, but they have a lot of young and talented ones. Recently, NFL.com named Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed to their All-Breakout Team for 2024. Here’s what they had to say.

On a team without a true WR1 , Reed could ascend to the top spot as a reliable chain mover with strong hands and dynamic running skills. Operating primarily out of the slot, the second-year pro is a rare find as a vertical threat, possessing polished route-running skills that enable him to win on crossers, digs and deep overs. Reed earned Jordan Love ‘s trust during a fine rookie season (64 catches, 793 receiving yards and eight scores) that put the former second-rounder on the radar as a potential No. 1 option in Green Bay. These two should make even sweeter music in their second season together.

While the Packers might not have a true No.1 as of now, the argument can be made for Reed being the best receiver on the team last season. In 2023, Reed totaled 793 receiving yards, eight receiving touchdowns, and 64 receptions.

Reed led the Packers in both receptions and receiving yards and was tied with Romeo Doubs for first in receiving touchdowns. As a young player, Reed will likely get better in 2024, but he will have some stiff competition from other young receivers who also should take a step forward for Green Bay.
