Pedestrian killed in crash on I-25 south of Colorado Springs
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - A pedestrian was killed after they were hit by a car while crossing I-25 overnight. Colorado State Patrol says troopers were called to southbound I-25 and Mesa Ridge Parkway (exit 132) for the collision just before 12:40 Tuesday morning, where they found a 23-year-old Colorado Springs man in the roadway with fatal injuries. Christmas Eve Citadel Mall shooting suspect pleads not guilty to murder
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The man accused of killing someone in a gun battle inside a Colorado Springs mall on Christmas Eve in 2023 pleaded not guilty in the case. Josiah Brown was arrested in January following the shooting, reportedly between two groups, where three people were hit by gunfire inside the Citadel Mall. Teryus Thomas, who was 18, was killed. Two others were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
