Cochranton fair music acts, parade details announced
The Cochranton Community Fair, set for August 6-10, will have a soft opening on August 5 due to a high number of performers. The entertainment lineup includes The Honky Tonk Twins, Julia Neville, Michael Christopher, November Blue, Brett Allen Morgan, and Morgan White, featuring a mix of gospel, country, and interactive performances. The fair is free and no tickets are required. The annual parade, themed “Communities that Flourish,” will take place at 6:30 p.m. on August 7, with a participant application deadline of July 15. Mahoning, Trumbull courts to receive new fingerprint scanners from state grant program
Courts within Mahoning and Trumbull County will receive new fingerprint scanners from a state grant program to "bolster criminal-records systems" within the Valley. Announced in a press release from the Attorney General's Office, the state's criminal-records repository will pay for 77 new devices that courts across Ohio will use to capture defendants' fingerprints for submission to the database.
