Are you the kind of person who loves to pair a sweet treat with their coffee in the morning? Or maybe you like something with a bit of drizzle frosting over top to satisfy sugary cravings on your way home from work? Whatever brings you that little bit of food and drink happiness, there’s a surprisingly small number of quick-access options around Tucson. Starbucks loads its coffees with sugar, which is great if that’s what you want, but not so much if you want a quality danish on the side, and Dunkin hasn’t exactly taken off around town (most locations tend to struggle). So, if you’re on the constant lookout for a new sweet treat and beverage shop, there’s a brand-new restaurant ready to satisfy your cravings.

Originally based in Bountiful, Utah, Fiiz has expanded to over 60 restaurants around the region, as it has now spread into the Old Pueblo with a brand new shop. In fact, Fiiz decided to jump right over Phoenix and open its first Arizona location in Tucson. Located at 904 East University Blvd, you might remember the address as the former home to a Baskin Robbins/Dunkin combo shop (as I said earlier, Dunkin just doesn’t seem to stick).

The part restaurant, part soda shop, has an eclectic offering of goodies. When you walk in, you’ll feel as if you’re about to order some favorite movie theater treats (without the inflated prices, of course). There are custom soda options, which is great if you were ever the kind of person who loved to mix and match sodas (who didn’t do that as a kid?). Various flavors of popcorn are available, with a starting price of a buck. You can order full-sized pretzels, pretzel bits, pizza bites, churro bites, nachos, cookies, glazed doughnuts, and all sorts of other goodies. So, if you’ve been searching for a fun little spot to satisfy your sugary cravings, you can stop by and eat inside the restaurant, place a to-go order, or have it delivered right to your home. An excellent option for your next at-home movie night.

The official hours of operation have not yet been announced by Fiiz. However, if it is anything like the other shops in the region, it will likely be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM until 10 PM, on Friday from 7:30 AM until 11 PM, on Saturday from 9 AM until 11 PM, and closed on Sunday (nearly all of the 60 restaurants, outside of a few in Texas, are closed on Sunday, so expect something similar).
