Two Men Evade Montclair Police After Intercepted Car Break-In
MONTCLAIR, NJ - Two men escaped from police last week after being caught breaking into a Montclair resident’s car and stealing a garage door opener, Montclair Police Officials announced on Tuesday. According to the Montclair Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on June 27. The suspects were seen entering the resident’s Audi S8 and stealing a garage door opener. Police stated, "Responding officers arrived and located a white BMW X4 idling in the middle of the street. The vehicle was determined to be stolen from Montgomery Township. The vehicle fled west on Warren Place."
