    Hallsville man’s body found in Morgan County; death ruled as intentional homicide

    MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is investigating an intentional homicide after they found the body of a man from Hallsville, Missouri, on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

    According to a Facebook post from MCSO, Morgan County E-911 received a report of an adult man found on his side against a tree near Beechnut Road south of Stover, Missouri. Deputies and EMS staff located the deceased man, identified as 71-year-old Beauford Wilson of Hallsville.

    Lebanon man pleads guilty to shooting woman inside her home

    On July 2, the Greene County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy in Springfield, Missouri. Preliminary results found the presence of multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

    Wilson’s death has been ruled as an intentional homicide.

    The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information should contact the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office at (573) 378-5481.
