Letter: A lot to celebrate in Ipswich
My family has lived in Ipswich for 10 years. Others have strong histories, and long family roots here. Those before us made Ipswich a desirable town to raise a family, and neighbors instantly welcomed us. Downtown was so alive. Restaurants abuzz with white-noise laughter, honks from passing cars saying hello, and neighbors on the street in an unplanned meet-cute.

During a routine annual reappointment of committee, board and commission members on July 9 the Rockport Select Board voted 4-1 against reappointing Laura Kozachek to the Conservation Commission. Kozachek was serving as its chair. The only discussion prior to the vote was Selectwoman Laura Evans stating strong support for Kozachek.

Salisbury To Test Road Restrictions To Reduce Beach Traffic
SALISBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The town of Salisbury is trying out a road restriction plan in an effort to reduce traffic and gridlocks. Starting 9 a.m. on July 20 and 21, road access to Cable Avenue from Beach Road will be restricted to only residents and their guests.
