Closed Clermont County restaurant to get new owners
CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - The owners of a Clermont County restaurant that shut down in May say a sale is pending. Stone House Restaurant and Bar first opened on Ohio Pike in Pierce Township in March of 2023. Prior to the closure, the restaurant turned to social media for help but announced the end in May 2024 in a Facebook post.
USS Cincinnati submarine finds home at Voice of America Park
WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - A piece of Navy history has found a permanent home in Greater Cincinnati and it has a special connection to the Tri-State. The USS Cincinnati Memorial Peace Pavilion will be at Voice of America (VOA) Park in West Chester. The USS Cincinnati (SSN-693) was a nuclear-powered submarine that launched in 1977 and patrolled the depths of the oceans until it was decommissioned in 1996.
Greater Cincinnati fire department prioritizes firefighters' mental and physical health
CINCINNATI (WKRC)- The Loveland-Symmes Fire Department's new Health & Wellness Center is focused on the physical and behavioral/mental health of the firefighter paramedics. This week, more than 100 firefighters will receive a three-hour long physical, ultrasound, and behavioral assessment to make sure they are healthy. They will also undergo blood tests and cancer screenings. Front Line Mobile Health will administer the screenings.

Clinton County Chaos completes first fast-pitch season
The Clinton County Chaos Fastpitch Club completed its 2023-2024 season. The new organization hosted a 10U and 12U team throughout its inaugural year. Clinton County Chaos is a new opportunity for local female athletes interested in growing their level of play in the sport of fastpitch softball.
