Lebanon man arrested in Franklin County
A Lebanon man is in the Franklin County Regional Jail after leading deputies on a chase involving kayaks. According to a story in the Frankfort State-Journal, Austin Claude Cooper, 22, of Lebanon, is accused of stealing a kayak at knifepoint in Peaks Mill on July 11. Frankfort police alerted deputies and detectives that a male had been observed driving recklessly and fleeing toward the Peaks Mills area. When law enforcement arrived, they located the vehicle, but the driver had fled on foot.

Father of 2-year-old who overdosed on drugs pleads guilty to child endangerment
BETHEL, Ohio — The father of a 2-year-old boy who overdosed on drugs earlier this year in Clermont County has pleaded guilty to child endangerment. It happened at the end of May, when officers were called for a report of an unresponsive child in the 300 block of University Lane in Batavia.
Closed Clermont County restaurant to get new owners
CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - The owners of a Clermont County restaurant that shut down in May say a sale is pending. Stone House Restaurant and Bar first opened on Ohio Pike in Pierce Township in March of 2023. Prior to the closure, the restaurant turned to social media for help but announced the end in May 2024 in a Facebook post.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Temperatures today will be near normal in the mid 80s. It will be humid with dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s. The heat index will be near 90. There is a chance for showers and storms this afternoon and evening. A cold front will move in from the north providing rain chances and eventually cooler and drier air.
