SIOUX FALLS, SD/HASTINGS – Dirt Devil softball concluded their summer competition on Sunday with two final weekend tournaments. The Dirt Devil 18s finished 2-2 during the Ringneck International Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota while the Dirt Devil 14s went 3-2 in the Class C Nebraska Fastpitch Championships in Hastings.

Jays fall at The Birdcage
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Gehlen Catholic baseball team lost 7-3 to Spirit Lake on Monday. The game was played at The Birdcage, home of the Sioux Falls Canaries. “We swung it well. We just hit it right to them,” said Jays coach Loi Kraft. “It was a little windy, I’m not going to blame it on that, but we had a couple balls that got hung up and they were able to play them. Spirit Lake is a good team. We didn’t play bad.”
