Some Texas State students worry about ability to protest after university changes free speech policy
SAN MARCOS, Texas — For Texas State University student Zachariyah Al-Natoor, standing up for Palestinian liberation is a calling. "It's disgusting to see my home get destroyed," Al-Natoor said. "It brings me to tears every time – the amount of people, spending their day, their time out, speaking out against the cause, and it's very empowering."

Texas Exes is involved in the community and they give east Texans the with scholarships to attend UT-Austin. First SHIFT magazine offers students opportunity to share their college substance use, wellness experiences
For years, UT’s SHIFT program has prioritized helping students feel safe in their college experience whether or not they choose to participate in substance use. Known for distributing non-alcoholic drinks at campus events, providing access to naloxone around campus and educating students about substance use, SHIFT now offers a zine forum to engage students in substance use conversation and de-stigmatization.

NCPA announces finalists for 2024 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The National Community Pharmacists Association and the NCPA Foundation are pleased to announce that teams of pharmacy students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Texas at Austin have been named finalists in the 2024 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition. The three teams will present their business plans in a live competition on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the NCPA Annual Convention in Columbus. The winning team will be announced on Sunday, Oct. 27, as part of the convention’s First General Session.
