    Mother Charged in Drowning of Child in Hendersonville

    On July 13, 2024, the Hendersonville Police Department was notified of a child that had drowned in Drakes Creek near 200 Sanders Ferry Rd in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

    Detectives responded to investigate and determined that the child’s mother, Brandi Elliott (33), was responsible for the child’s death. Elliott was subsequently charged with First Degree Murder and transported to the Sumner County Jail.
