Multiple Fire Departments Respond To Fuel Spill In Suffern
Multiple fire departments, including Tallman, Hillburn, Nyack, and West Haverstraw FD, in addition to Ramapo Police, responded to a fuel spill on Dunnigan Rd in Suffern. The fuel spill was caused by a puncture in the gas tank of a large tractor trailer. Initial reports say the driver might have hit the nearby train tracks, as the fuel spill starts at the tracks and continues to where the truck parked.
22-Year-Old Nyack Man Killed In Thruway Crash In Clarkstown
The incident occurred in Rockland County around 11:25 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, on I-87 in Clarkstown. According to the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Michael Dipierno, age 22, of Nyack, was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle north on I-87 when he attempted to pass a vehicle on the median shoulder and lost control on the rumble strips.

PATERSON, N.J. (TCN) -- A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized with multiple injuries after she was stabbed over the weekend during a suspected family dispute. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement that on Aug. 23 at 4:05 p.m., Paterson Police Department officers responded to a home on East 24th Street regarding a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found the girl with stab wounds and transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. The prosecutor's office said the girl is in stable condition.
