A major water main break is currently flooding Route 59 between Brookside Ave and North Airmont Rd. Police have closed the street to traffic and Veolia Water has been alerted about the situation. Many homes in the Suffern and Airmont area are currently without water.

Adoption Fees Discounted at Bergen County Animal Shelter
If you missed the free adoption weekend at the Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, fee discounts are continuing until Sept. 10. The center, located at 100 United Lane, Teterboro, New Jersey, waived all adoption fees last weekend as part of its annual month-long “Clear the Shelters” adoption event.
