Rochester reacts to Biden bowing out, endorsing Harris in presidential run
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — People in Rochester reacted to the news of President Biden dropping out of the presidential race on Sunday. Sam Agronick said he wasn't surprised after learning President Biden had bowed out of the race for reelection and had endorsed Vice President Harris to take his place.
ROCHESTER MAN ALREADY SERVING 30 YEAR SENTENCE, SENTENCED TO AN ADDITIONAL 20 YEARS IN PRISON
(WNY News Now) – ROCHESTER, N.Y.-U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that a 31-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 100 kilograms or more of marijuana, and possession of a machine gun, was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. The sentence will be served concurrent to a 30-year sentence Fulwiley received in New York State Court for committing two homicides in July 2022 with Kelvin Vickers and Raheem Robinson. Vickers was also convicted of murdering Rochester Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz and wounding Officer Sino Seng.

Brockport grants rezoning to Sweden property
At its July 15 meeting, the Brockport Village Board granted incentive zoning to 133 State Street, the site of the former Sweden Senior Center, to allow low-impact business use in the future. The zoning change was needed in order for the Town to sell the property to a local dental practice.
