Dangerous swimming conditions expected Tuesday and Wednesday for Lake Michigan
Dangerous beach conditions are expected to develop along Lake Michigan Tuesday, continuing through the day Wednesday. Swimming is not encouraged. Strong south-southwest winds at 15-20mph are likely on Tuesday, causing waves to build to around 3-6ft, lasting through Wednesday. Beaches from Holland and north will be impacted, with beaches located on the south side of piers particularly affected. This includes Grand Haven State Park and Pier Marquette State Park.
