COACH'S VIEW: "Austin has been our catalyst in the lead off spot and centerfield for three years. He is the most competitive player that I have ever coached. He refuses to lose an at-bat or play in the field. He takes great pride in pushing himself to be the best and leads his team with the way he grinds each day. Austin has a huge heart and brings great joy to the people around him. With that being said, he has the uncanny ability to flip a switch in a competitive atmosphere and go to another level." - Matt Sattler
Charlie Lacny
SCHOOL: Zeeland East
GRADE: Senior
POSITION: Shortstop
DIAMOND GEMS: Batted .368 and earned all-conference. Had 22 RBIs, 43 hits and 37 runs scored.
COACH'S VIEW: "Charlie is the epitome of a baseball player. He works extremely hard at his craft and has the utmost confidence in his ability. Charlie always wants to play against the best talent he can and loves the challenge. He has had a tremendous career for us as a 3-year starter at shortstop. While his baseball numbers and accolades are outstanding, the greatest part of Charlie was watching him grow as a young man over his career. His maturity, leadership, attitude and understanding of the game have grown tremendously. He is a true student of the game and loves baseball more than any player I have ever been around." - Matt Sattler
Aidan Lauraine
SCHOOL: Zeeland West

POSITION: Outfield
DIAMOND GEMS: All-conference in OK Blue. Batted .377 with 26 hits and 15 RBIs.
COACH'S VIEW: "Parker is one of the best outfielders I have seen. Didn't make an error all year and made multiple diving catches to prevent runs from scoring. At the plate, he was a tough out and made pitchers pay for their mistakes. Led the OK Blue with 8 doubles." - Ty VanWieren

COACH'S VIEW: "Hudson was our No. 1 conference pitcher again this year. He is the ultimate competitor. Hudson didn't always get the run support when he stepped on the rubber, but he gave us a chance to win every game. Dominated hitters when they stepped in the box." - Ty VanWieren

For all of his baseball ability, accolades and success, it doesn't begin to compare to the type of person he is. Trevor has been a class act off the field and in the classroom, he lives everyday with great character and a priority on his academics, finishing with over a 4.0 GPA in his high school career." - Matt Sattler

GRADE: Junior
POSITION: Third base
DIAMOND GEMS: All-conference in OK Green. Batted .423 to lead the Chix.
COACH'S VIEW: "The best player no one knew about this year. Quincy had a tremendous year for us this season. It was easy with the talent on our team to not know much about him at the beginning of the season, and he took advantage of it each day. Quincy led our team in just about every offensive category and was stellar defensively at third base. Quincy is without a doubt the best teammate I have ever coached. For all of his individual success this year, he would trade it all for his team." - Matt Sattler

POSITION: Outfield
DIAMOND GEMS: Batted .346 with 36 hits, 16 runs and 15 RBIs. All-Conference honorable mention in OK Blue.
COACH'S VIEW: "Landon was our leadoff hitter and did a great job of getting on base for the guys behind him. He hits the ball as hard as anyone on the team and his speed turns a lot of those line drives into extra base hits. He is a great natural athlete and covers a tremendous amount of ground in the outfield." - Brian Grabinski
Abel Walkotten
SCHOOL: Holland
GRADE: Junior
POSITION: Infield
DIAMOND GEMS: All-conference in OK Green. Batted .394 with 15 RBIs and 26 runs. Was 5-for-5 on stolen bases.
COACH'S VIEW: "Abel has settled in, now in his third varsity season, and developed into the offensive threat we were hoping for. He is a relentless worker and puts in more time than anyone in our program to perfect his craft, and it showed this year - he led our team in batting average, runs scored, and RBIs. On top of that, he is a leader on the field and a great teammate." - Coty Franklin
Logan Wyckoff
SCHOOL: Zeeland West
GRADE: Senior
POSITION: Outfield
DIAMOND GEMS: Broke the school record with a .455 average for the season. Had 40 hits.
