We will start with baseball. The team was chosen by position and does not include anyone still in high school. Here is the lineup:
Pitcher: Mike Mokma, Holland Christian
As a senior, Mike Mokma led the Holland Christian baseball team to its first state championship. He was unbeatable, going 15-0 with a 1.06 ERA. He threw two perfect games and batted .430 as a senior with 43 RBIs. He finished his career with six MHSAA state records before pitching at Michigan State, then signing with the Dodgers.
Pitcher: Grant Wolfram, Hamilton
A three-sport star, Grant Wolfram was all-conference in basketball and all-state in tennis, going 30-1 at No. 1 doubles as a senior. But his best sport was baseball. He was a multi-all-state performer, and put together one of the most dominating seasons in state history as a senior. He went on to play at CMU and Davenport before being drafted by the Texas Rangers.
Pitcher: David Nykerk, West Ottawa
One of the top arms in local history, David Nykerk was an all-state pitcher who led the Panthers to their first state championship in baseball. He was the Sentinel Player of the Year and earned a scholarship to pitch at the University of Michigan.
Pitcher: Chris Mokma, Holland Christian
Dominant on the mound, Chris Mokma was tough to beat. He was a three-time all-state pitcher for the Maroons and was the Sentinel Baseball Player of the Year three times. As a freshman, he started and helped the Maroons win the state title. Also played basketball for the Maroons before being drafted by the Miami Marlins. He is currently pitching in the minor leagues.
Pitcher: Adam Berghorst, Zeeland East
Adam Berghorst earned all-state honors in football and baseball as defensive tackle and pitcher. Selected in the MLB draft but opted to play both sports at Michigan State. Was dominating run stopper as a defensive tackle on the football field but proved to be even better on the mound. Now pitches at Indiana State.
Pitcher: Jake Arendsen, Holland Christian
One of the top left-handed pitchers in area history, Arendsen was the Holland Sentinel Player of the Year as a senior and went on to pitch at Oakland University.
Catcher: David Williams, Holland Christian
Was the catcher and No. 2 starting pitcher on the Holland Christian state championship team. Went on to play NCAA Division I baseball at Xavier.

On the basketball court, he earned all-state honors as a senior and led the Panthers to the Class A state championship game, the school's best finish. He was perhaps even better on the mound, earning all-state baseball honors and pitching at Miami (Ohio) and then the University of Kentucky.
Outfield: Blake Dunn, Saugatuck
One of the top athletes in the history of the state, Blake Dunn was all-state in four sports. He was an all-state football player twice, an all-state baseball player twice and all-state in track all four years. He was the state champion in both hurdle events twice. He was also honorable mention all-state in basketball, breaking the school scoring record. He went on to play baseball at Western Michigan and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds.
