Warren County, North Carolina- The Virginia Department of Health has issued a recreational swimming and fish consumption advisory until further notice for surface waters, including the Meherrin and Roanoke rivers, that extend to the North Carolina-Virginia border after a fire at a chemical storage facility in South Hill, Virginia on July 6, 2024.

Warren County Memorial Library Announces New Smart Book Locker
Warren County, North Carolina – The Warren County Memorial Library is launching a new Smart Book Locker at Lake Gaston Coffee Company, located at 104 Wellington Way, Littleton, NC 27850. This locker was acquired through a County Improvement Plan and has been placed in partnership with Lake Gaston Coffee Company. Patrons can use this location to pick up library holds including books, audiobooks, and DVDs. Materials can still be returned to the main library branch when patrons are finished.
