Marietta Woman Accused of Stealing from Home Depot
Elizabeth Annie Barbosa, 19, of Marietta, is accused of stealing $2,829 in cash from cash registers at the end of her shift as an employee of Home Depot on July 9 at 6:04 p.m. at the 449 Roberts Court location in Kennesaw, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department. Barbosa admitted to taking the cash over a two-week time period and there is video footage of the theft, according to the warrant. Barbosa is charged with theft by taking – greater than $1,500. She was arrested on July 9 at 6:33 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Barbosa was released on a $2,500 bond.

Police arrest man for speeding, assault
MILTON, Ga. — Police arrested a 32-year-old Roswell man June 30 for speeding at 83 mph in a 35-mph zone on Morris Road in his Nissan Sentra.
