Two people arrested in Holmen for crimes related to fentanyl

HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) -- On Monday, Kari Bashaw and Antwan King were arrested during a traffic stop in the Village of Holmen after a leafy green substance consistent with marijuana was found in their car.

Upon booking at the La Crosse County Jail, a bag containing a quarter to half a pound of fentanyl was found on King.

Bashaw is charged with multiple counts including conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver fentanyl.

Bashaw is out of jail on a $5,000 signature bond.

King is charged with multiple counts including Possession with intent to deliver more than 50 grams of fentanyl.

He is still in custody on a $50,000 cash bond.
