Five Transported to Area Hospitals After Serious Crash on Route 13 in Cortlandville
Around 10:30 in the morning on Tuesday, July 23, emergency personnel responded to a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 13 and the McDonald’s parking lot. Teenager Walks into Hospital with Gunshot Wound, Police Investigate
(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY – A 17-year-old male walked into University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left hand, prompting an active police investigation. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m., uniformed officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to University Hospital at 750 East Adams Street. The officers found the teenage victim in the emergency room, suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by gunfire. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Syracuse residents can now buy a second trash cart from city if one isn't enough
Syracuse, N.Y. — If the 96-gallon trash cart Syracuse households received last year isn’t big enough, residents will soon be able to get a second container. Cicero, N.Y. — A restaurant that combined a quirky diner, a classic sports pub, a pizzeria and one of Upstate New York’s best-known wing brands has closed permanently. The Cicero Eatery at 7785 Frontage Road closed Sunday, said Robb Bidwell, who owns the business with partner Doug Balle. It opened in 2021 as a second location for Armory Square’s Modern Malt diner, then transitioned to the Cicero Eatery in March 2023.
