Rihanna's popular clothing brand opens 1st Illinois location at suburban mall
One suburban Chicago mall is getting the state's first brick-and-mortar retail location of Rihanna's popular apparel brand Savage X Fenty. Savage X Fenty opens Friday at Orland Square Mall in Orland Park in the southwest suburbs, according to a press release. The label is known for its inclusive approach to lingerie and apparel, the release said, with sizing ranging from extra-small to 4XL.

Kickstarting the night were Nevertel, a multi-fusion act that blend metalcore and EDM influences, creating a sound that is like a mixture of Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, and Issues filled with melodic verses, hip-hop influences choruses, and EDM/metalcore breakdowns. With obvious charismatic and upbeat energy to their set, Nevertel feeds off of each other, curating an entertaining and engaging performance. Being the opening slot on a massive tour like this can sometime prove difficult, but Nevertel navigate it with ease.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels: The Musical AUDITION and DANCE CLASS information at Marian Theatre Guild. There’s still time to get in a couple dance rehearsals prior to auditions. Choreographer Susan Bobos will teach dances that may or may not be in the show, but most likely will be at the auditions. Dance classes are free and open to everyone ages 16+. In addition, you don’t even have to audition for show. Just put on your dancing shoes, dress comfortable and have fun. It’ll be warm in there so dress accordingly and bring water.

The day is a state-wide effort, started in 2014, to encourage everyone to “plug into” the amazing recreational opportunities offered by local park and recreation agencies.
