Roxbury Councilman: No Solution to Anticipated Hopatcong State Park Lifeguard Shortages
ROXBURY, NJ – The state has not come up with a solution to an anticipated late summer loss of lifeguards at Hopatcong State Park, a situation that becomes a burden for Roxbury police as crowds are turned away, said Roxbury Councilman Mark Crowley. Former N.J. Playboy Club slated to become new resort, concert venue
The long-empty former Playboy Club in Sussex County has been sold and is slated to become a new resort, spa and concert venue, according to its new owner. An affiliate of Lockwood, a New York City-based real estate investment and development company, acquired the Vernon property earlier this month, according to company president Charles Everhardt.
