Taco chain will open second St. Louis-area location this month
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A restaurant chain that serves tacos will soon open its second St. Louis location, in west St. Louis County. Tacos 4 Life, a fast-casual franchised restaurant chain, will open a new restaurant in Ballwin in mid-July, restaurant operators said in a news release. It would be the chain’s second St. Louis-area location, after previously opening one in O’Fallon, Missouri, in November 2021.
Truffles Butchery in Frontenac attracts fans from all over St. Louis
When you enter the newly expanded Truffles Butchery on Clayton Road, you'll be greeted by a welcoming smile from a man wearing a name tag that reads MITH – short for "Man in the Hat." Eureka High Featured in New Book About Benefits of Theatre Education
Lucy Ferguson appeared in her first play when she was 7: a Parkway-Rockwood Community Education Spotlight Productions presentation of “The Wizard of Oz.”. From there, she continued taking dance, voice and acting classes, appeared in shows with regional companies and became involved in classes at Eureka High and with the Eureka Theatre Company (etc…). Now a rising junior musical theatre major at Indiana University Bloomington, Ferguson has spent a good amount of time reflecting on the positive personal and academic effects afforded to her by an upbringing on stage.
Venable Park leads the way for more major Creve Coeur outdoor renovations
Parks, recreation and the great outdoors were the hot topic in a variety of bills, resolutions and staff reports at the June 24 Creve Coeur City Council meeting. Center stage was the Venable Park Master Plan. Most of the early work was initiated by the great-grandniece of Dr. H. Phillip Venable through a pro-bono arm of her employer, the HDR Engineering consulting firm. She also submitted the park master plan for HDR which will feature memorial artwork.
