Holly Brown's photos keep being recognized in statewide contest
The last time we checked in with Holly Brown’s photography was in 2021 when she won best-in-show in the Focus on Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest. Brown lives with her family on a farm northeast of Oronogo. She and her 2021 contest photos were featured in the Sentinel in July 2021.

Mo. DNR’s Drought Assessment Committee to meet July 19
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Drought Assessment Committee will meet later this month. Marcellus Williams, MO man on death row, will get to present DNA evidence, argue innocence
A Missouri man scheduled to be executed in September will get a chance to present a court with DNA evidence he believes will exonerate him. Marcellus Williams will get a hearing on Aug. 21, at the request of St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell. The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to vacate the conviction after reviewing the case and discovering “clear and convincing evidence” that Williams is innocent.
