Fire demolishes vacant Dittmer mobile home
Cedar Hill Fire Protection District crews put out a fire on Monday, July 1 that demolished a vacant mobile home in the 6900 block of Deer Run Road in Dittmer. Assistant Fire Chief David Jones said crews arrived on the scene at 8:19 p.m., and the fire was under control about 15 minutes later.

Expansion to St. Louis Airport hotel could wrap in December
ST. LOUIS — An expansion of an existing airport hotel with a new brand is expected to finish construction by the end of this year. The new 128-room, six-story Hampton Inn at 10300 Natural Bridge Road in Woodson Terrace, a project of Maryland Heights-based developer Lodging Hospitality Management, is connected to the existing Hilton St. Louis Airport Hotel at 10330 Natural Bridge. They're near St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
