A Harley Davidson motorcycle crash led to moderate injuries Aug. 18 to a Waynesville man on Highway 17 about 10 miles north of Roby, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Michael J. France, 69, was operating the 1988 Electra Glide model that failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, said Cpl. Travis Brown.

France, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by Texas County EMS to Phelps Health in Rolla.

The motorcycle had extensive damage. The Roby Fire Department assisted.
