    Houston woman injured in crash, patrol says

    A Houston woman was involved in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

    Victoria M. Waldrop, 36, was driving a 2006 Hyundai Elantra westbound on Highway BB four miles west of U.S. 63 when she struck the rear of a 1997 Polaris Express 300 driven by Norman R. Jackson, 43, of Licking, patrol said. Jackson was ejected from the vehicle.

    Both were transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries. The Express was totaled, the Elantra suffered minor damage.

    Waldrop was wearing a safety device. Jackson was not.

    Investigating the accident was Tpr. Jason L. Sentman. Assisting was Cpl. Travis L. Brown.
