Country music star can't hold in his excitement on ESPN while talking about the Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have one of the best fan bases in all of sports. However, they have been down in the dumps for a while now - that is until last season. They had been pretty bad, which made it easy for fans to lose interest. But when you see them while they are good, it's obvious the fan base is great.

And, there are plenty of famous people who are fans of the team, whether it be celebrities like Meg Thee Stallion, who the team posted on their Twitter, or Paul Wall, That Mexican OT, or even country music star Parker McCollum.

McCollum was recently on the Pat McAfee show on ESPN, and let everyone know about his fandom and how excited he is after the Texans have gone and made the moves they have to become Super Bowl contenders for the first time in a long time, if ever.

"As a Houston Texans fan, I am so pumped for this season," McCollum said.

While watching a video of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson throwing down a sick dunk, he said something hilarious about the Texans, showing exactly where his fandom lies.

"I'm glad C.J. [Stroud] and Stefon [Diggs] are on the field throwing balls and Anthony [Richardson] is doing this. Shows where your mind is. Shows where the culture is. We have our priorities right."

Meanwhile, Stroud is gathering his receivers and working out in Miami as we speak.

In all seriousness, we know the Texans fan base is huge, but just like Stroud and DeMeco Ryans said last season, they are giving fans a reason to be proud again. McCollum is proud to say he is a Texans fan, and who knows, he could be even more proud a year from now if the team wins the Super Bowl.
