Texans OC Bobby Slowik shares what he loves about RB Joe Mixon

The Houston Texans brought in several new big pieces this offseason, adding multiple Pro Bowl talents via free agency as well as trades. On offense the biggest move was trading for superstar Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs , and he's drawn a ton of the media attention this offseason for Houston.

One move that's somehow gone under the radar with everything else going on was trading for Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon . Since his arrival in the NFL in 2017 Mixon has scored 62 touchdowns from scrimmage and gone over 1,000 rushing yards four different times, including last season.

Here's what Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik had to share about Mixon when he was asked at yesterday's training camp practice.

Along with tight end Dalton Schultz and the wide receiver trio of Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell, the Texans have assembled what is arguably the top offensive skill group in the league. Expectations will be high for this group, as they should be.
