Stefon Diggs’ Honest Review Of CJ Stroud Should Worry NFL Teams

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs has started his first training camp with his new team, and his first season with quarterback CJ Stroud is underway.

Stroud made waves in his rookie season last year. He led the Texans to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, won the NFL Rookie of the Year award, and made the Pro Bowl.

NFL fans are excited to see Stroud with a weapon as good as Diggs, and Diggs is just as eager to hit the field with him this season.

On Monday, Diggs discussed his new QB, leaving a review that should put some fear in opposing NFL teams.

"[Stroud] is special. I think everybody kind of knows that. Not much to reiterate it, though, because I see it firsthand. Taking it play after play, building. So, it's a work in progress," Diggs said.

Diggs knows a few things about good quarterback play. During his time with the Minnesota Vikings, he had Pro Bowler Kirk Cousins throw to him for a few years.

When he was traded to the Buffalo Bills, Diggs got a quarterback upgrade in MVP candidate Josh Allen.

After three seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes, Stroud was selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL draft, right behind Alabama QB Bryce Young. In 2023, Stroud completed 319 of his 499 passing attempts for 4,108 yards and scored 23 touchdowns.
