Man in critical condition after being hit by vehicle on University Drive

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A man has been transported to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday morning.

According to HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster, the collision took place along University Drive under the bridge at Research Park around 10:17 a.m.

Webster tells News 19 that the man was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services and is listed in critical condition.

The Huntsville Police Department and Huntsville Fire & Rescue also responded and assisted.
