A former warehouse worker in Argentina was killed after he crashed a small plane into the warehouse where he used to work. Juan Manuel Medina , 46, was let go from his job at Air Liquide last March due to budget cuts. He had been with the company since June 2023.

On Friday (August 9), Medina went to Rosario Aeroclub, where he was a member, and rented a Cessna 150. Employees didn't notice anything out of the ordinary as Medina prepared the small aircraft for flight . He was a certified pilot with about 500 hours of flight experience.

He took off around 11:30 a.m. and headed straight toward the warehouse, which stores highly flammable and explosive chemicals. At noon, he crashed the plane into the warehouse, slamming into a concrete column. He was killed instantly in the crash. Miraculously, the crash did not cause the chemicals in the warehouse to explode .

Investigators said that before taking off, Medina posted a cryptic message on WhatsApp, sharing an image of a nuclear mushroom cloud forming over Nagasaki, Japan. He also shared a selfie writing, "To the big liars" in Spanish.

A video shared on X captured the moment the plane went into a dive straight for the warehouse.
