    Independence police looking for driver in deadly hit-and-run crash

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Independence are looking for a driver who didn’t stop after hitting someone who was walking near 24th Street and Claremont Avenue on Saturday. Investigators tell FOX4 that victim died from their injuries.

    Independence police posted about the hit-and-run just after 7 p.m., saying it happened some time on Saturday afternoon.

    Police haven’t identified the victim yet.
