When notified of the shooting, troopers in the area went to the direct spot, saw the vehicle west of Mt. Comfort Rd., and pulled the car over. There was only one occupant in the vehicle and a handgun. Davis was taken into custody.

According to the Indiana State Police, there was damage consistent with gunshot holes in the passenger side of the semi. No injuries have been reported.
