The off-season is officially over as the Indianapolis Colts reported for training camp at Westfield’s Grand Park on Wednesday morning.  Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was one of the early arrivals to camp.  Fresh off a 109-catch, over 1,100-yard season and a newly signed three-year extension, the Colts’ top target is ready for an even bigger 2024.  He joined us on report day to discuss all of the off-season happenings as well as what his personal and team expectations are for the upcoming season.

My goal list is like a pyramid.  My number one goal is to win a Super Bowl and then under that I have three goals and then I have weekly and daily targets. That’s how I keep on track and a straight line. – Michael Pittman Jr. on how he lays out his goals of any season

Pittman said one of his big goals was double-digit touchdown catches.  He also discussed the drafting of Adonai Mitchell, his expectations for Anthony Richardson, not having a “USC pretty boy” mindset, why he’s totally comfortable with the extension he signed even after seeing others sign for more money and a whole lot more.

You don’t want to leave a system that works for you.  You see guys who are really good in a certain system and then they leave and they kind of fall off.  – Michael Pittman Jr. on why he was comfortable signing the contract extension in the off-season
