Her entry time was set this March at the Westmont PSS stop and represented her first time sub-57. Now she’s broken another barrier at this meet. Grossenbach was first to the wall in 26.68, and managed to hold on for the win despite a charge from Mackenzie Hodges (55.92). Grossenbach’s time cracks the top-100 in the 15-16 age group, slotting in at 63rd.

Since coming to Vandy, in her role as recruiting coordinator Piper has helped bring in 14 current student-athletes who have recorded 35 times that rank among the top 10 on the Commodores’ all-time performer list highlighted by four individuals—Grace Ciaramitaro, Ellie Taliaferro, Mercedes Traba and Kailia Utley—combining to set 14 school and freshman records. In all, Dore swimmers have posted the fastest time in program history in 15 different individual events as well as all five relays, with 34 student-athletes making the school’s all-time performer list on 86 occasions her first five seasons on the staff.
