Andrew Luck's kindness was recognized on a worldwide stage

During his time playing in the NFL, anyone who came in contact with Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck would comment about how nice he was on and off the field.

Whether he was celebrating a touchdown throw or complimenting a defender after they sacked him in the backfield.

Now, on the worldwide stage of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, we have even more evidence of Luck being one of the nicest people on the planet.

Luck is in Paris, France, for the 2024 Olympics, but his support for some of the athletes goes well beyond that. He and his wife Nicole have opened their home in California to athletes who were training for the Olympics at their alma mater, Stanford University.

Luck's wife is a former gymnast herself, so being able to support American male gymnast Asher Hong and other Stanford athletes was "a privilege," according to Luck. They even went the extra mile to decorate the door to their home where Hong was staying with confetti that was used during the gymnastic trials in Minneapolis to welcome him back when he returned.

This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone at this point, with so much evidence over the years showing how strong Luck's character is. I know that seeing Luck or even just hearing his name at times reminds Colts fans of his career-ending far too early, but I hope that as time passes, we all can look back on his time with the team in a positive light. And continue to root for Luck in his life after football.
