Another Colts edge rusher was carted off the field during a training camp practice

The Indianapolis Colts lost starting edge rusher Samson Ebukam to a torn Achilles during Sunday's training camp practice .

And they saw another edge rusher leave practice on a cart, this time second-year player Titus Leo.

The Colts drafted Leo with the 211th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie season with an injury after spending his five-year collegiate career at Wagner from 2018 to 2022. Leo was a two-time captain at Wagner and recorded 13 sacks, 234 total tackles, and 40 tackles for a loss in 38 total games.

We will have to wait and see the diagnosis of Leo's injury. However, head coach Shane Steichen shared after practice that Leo is dealing with a knee injury.

If Leo's injury requires season-ending surgery, he will join Daniel Scott as the second Colts 2023 draft pick to miss both of their first two seasons in the NFL . If Leo does, in fact, end up having to miss the entire season, it would be heartbreaking for the young pass rusher. Especially with the extra snap opportunity that Ebukam heading to the IR brings for multiple fringe roster players in the edge room.
