The Indianapolis Colts are getting some added help in the CB room.

The team announced they are removing veteran CB Chris Lammons from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, setting the DB up to make his 2024 training camp debut.

    Chris Lammons, CB

Lammons joined the Colts last year just after training camp began . Prior to joining the Colts, he spent time with the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals, spanning back to the 2018 season. The highlight of his career came in 2020 when he won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs.

Last season with the Colts, Lammons spent the majority of the season on the practice squad before being elevated to the active roster ahead of their Week 8 loss against the Saints . After this, he went on to appear in four games and make one start, recording one pass deflection and six total tackles.

He offers the team a solid special teamer with experience playing in the slot. But he will have a tall task ahead of him as he competes with multiple CBs for what will likely end up being one of the hardest decisions the Colts have to make during the roster cutdown .

Below are all the players currently on the Colts roster at CB.

    • Darrell Baker Jr.
    • Juju Brents
    • Clay Fields III (Rookie)
    • Dallis Flowers
    • Jaylon Jones
    • Chris Lammons
    • Kenny Moore II
    • Jaylin Simpson
    • Ameer Speed
