Camden Ames, Tell City
Ames helped the Marksmen win the Marksmen Kickoff Classic, scoring twice in wins over Shoals and Evansville Christian. He also added a couple assists (both vs. Shoals) to go with his four goals.
Troy Enslin, Carmel
The junior lifted the Hounds to a 1-0 win over Zionsville with a second-half tally.
Cohen Havill, Evansville Memorial
Havill opened the season with a two-goal, two-assist performance in a 5-0 win over Evansville Central. The junior has 19 goals and eight assists for his career.
Lance Hubbard, Seymour
The senior keeper made five saves to ensure Marckenson Paul’s first-half goal stood up in a 1-0 win over Jasper.
Cal Kurzawa, Cathedral
Kurzawa began his pursuit of the Irish’s single-season goals record in earnest Saturday, scoring twice in a 3-0 win over St. Francis DeSales (Ohio).
Kaden Martin, Indian Creek
Martin kicked off his senior year with three goals on four shots in a 3-1 win over Northview. The striker is well on his way to matching last season’s goal total (5).
Rudy David Martinez, Brownsburg
Martinez scored twice and added an assist to help the Bulldogs to a 7-1 win over Tech. Brownsburg scored five unanswered goals in the second half.
Nahum Mendez, Lawrence North
Mendez scored thrice and added an assist in a 5-0 win over Greenfield-Central. The senior scored eight goals and added a couple assists in 2023.
Dillon O’Rourke, Hamilton Southeastern
The senior forward staked the Royals to a first-half lead over Mt. Vernon, then tacked on an insurance tally late in the second, lifting his side to a 3-1 win.
Charlie Rawlins, Martinsville
Rawlins scored a goal and added an assist — both in the second half — to lead the Artesians to a 2-0 win over Terre Haute North. The junior is looking to build off a sophomore campaign wherein he scored 13 goals.
