Man found fatally shot on Albany Park sidewalk
CHICAGO — A man found unresponsive on a sidewalk in Albany Park early Tuesday was shot to death, officials say. Officers responding to calls of a person down found the 59-year-old Evanston man lying near a strip mall in the 3300 block of West Lawrence around 2:37 a.m. Chicago Fire Department personnel attempted to save the man, but he succumbed to his injuries at Swedish Hospital a short time later.

A tragic incident shook the community of Villa Park earlier this week when 25-year-old Anthony Jimenez was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Jessica Reyes, during a domestic incident. Man Tampers With Ignition Interlock Device, Gets Arrested
A deputy from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Highway 81 in Elk Grove Township for a two-vehicle accident Wednesday around 7:20am. 34 year old Dylan Russell of Darlington was traveling westbound on Highway 81 when his vehicle entered a work area and struck a parked 2004 Dodge. No injuries were reported, and the vehicles were driven from the scene. Russell was arrested for Operating after Revocation and Tampering with Ignition Interlock Device.
